A conceptual piece where gentleness and unease coexist

The design draws inspiration from two ideas: the Japanese gesture of extending both hands in hospitality, and the comfort of feeling supported by hands.
Each foot rests on a giant hand, transforming the reassuring notion of “omotenashi”—Japanese hospitality—into something quietly unsettling.
The hands are crafted from lightweight Phylon, while TPU nails accentuate the fingertips. As the nails peek into view with each step, they heighten the sense of unease and strange beauty.

The upper is a simple faux-leather plain-toe design, pairing a classic silhouette with the avant-garde concept of the outsole.

A ring on the thumb adds an uncanny sense of personality to the hand. The sole height is approximately 5.5 cm.
